Do you need to escape and find time for yourself ….. here it is.  To have a comfortable bed to sleep in  and a nightcap to finish the day – never tasted mead before .Anna makes it and if you ask we are happy to let you sample some.

A farmhouse breakfast will set you up for the day and if you don’t know which direction to go we can always suggest places for you to visit.

 A rural setting in North Yorkshire, England, known for its scenic landscapes and incredible views.  Historically belonging to Byland Abbey and where Cistercian monks came to enjoy a rest dating back to Cistercian times.  Artists came as far back as the early 1900s taking up their easels in our fields to paint and writers to seek inspirations from around them. The land has so much to offer to relax and refresh you .It is a joyous place with  little nooks and crannies to tuck yourself away in. Our woods are describe as fairywoods as they are so magical .

Short-breaks because everyone needs the chance to charge their batteries once in a while. Solo travellers are made to feel welcome and be put at ease when travelling alone .

You dont drive ? The bus will drop you at the end of our drive couldn’t get more convenient than this .It cost only £3 to get from York to us on the 31X bus .

Dont want to drive the whole way .Take the train to Thirsk then pick up a rental car – this is a well recommended way to  arrive by many guests
